Department Overview

The School Nutrition Services department offers breakfast and lunch each day at 65 locations throughout the district. Each day approximately 11,000 breakfasts and 35,000 lunches are served. In addition to breakfast and lunch, students may also choose from a variety of extra food items or desserts. Elementary prices are $.90 for breakfast and $1.75 for lunch. Secondary prices are $.95 for breakfast and $2.00 for lunch. Reduced price meals are $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch at all levels. Milk is $.40.

The school cafeterias offer a payment plan in all schools. Meals and a la carte items may be purchased with this plan. Any amount may be deposited into the student's account. The account is reduced each time an item is purchased.

Additionally, the school district participates in the free and reduced price meal program. Applications for the Free and Reduced Price Meal Program are available in each school office, online under our Free and Reduced Meals link, or by contacting the School Nutrition Services office at 657-8826.
