North East ISD - Facility Rentals

Welcome to the North East Independent School District facility use webpage.  NEISD is committed to making campus facilities available for use by the community. First priority is always given to the education of students. The Office of Procurement & eCommerce administers facility use during non-school hours including weekends and evenings. Facility requests are processed on a first-come first served basis. Interested patrons should contact the Office of Procurement & eCommerce to arrange for space in all NEISD campuses. Usage fees vary according to the type of group and the space utilized. Space that may be available includes gyms, auditoriums, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and playing fields.

Use of Facility District Policy

The Board permits and encourages public use of designated school facilities for educational, recreational, civic, or social activities, when these activities do not conflict with school use or with this policy.

Requests for nonschool use of District facilities shall be considered on a first-come, first-served basis; however, sport-related requests shall be considered on a percentage basis of availability schedule due to the limited resources available for use by sports organizations.

Academic and extracurricular campus activities shall always have priority when any use is scheduled. The campus principal or designee has the authority to cancel a scheduled nonschool use if an unexpected conflict arises with a District activity.

Important Insurance Note

NOTE: All groups must submit proof of liability insurance at the same time the Facility Use Application Form is submitted. Liability insurance may be obtained as a separate policy or as a rider. North East Independent School District must be listed as an "Additionally Insured" on the insurance certificate.

RULES FOR USING AN NEISD FACILITIES

Organization MUST provide a Certificate of Insurance Liability naming North East ISD as an additional insured in the amount of one million dollars once vent has been approved.
Any and all school activities take precedence over any facility usage contract.
Coaches MUST bring their contracts with them to all practices.
Absolutely, NO CONCESSIONS are allowed.
NO FOOD or DRINKS (except for water) allowed in the gym.
Absolutely, NO MAIN FIELDS shall be used; only Practice Fields shall be utilized.
NO animals allowed on campus, other than guide dogs assisting the visually impaired individual.
NO access to any other parts of the building.
All TRASH must be picked up.
Teams MUST put equipment back where it was originally located (portable standards only).
Teams/Organizations CANNOT start until the designated time and MUST leave at the designated time.
DO NOT enter the gym office.
For Field use NO RESTROOM facilities will be available.
ADHERE TO CUSTODIAN’S REQUEST.
If these requests are not adhered to the organization will lose its privileges.

Facilities Usage Request Forms and Information

The Facility Usage Request Form allows users to fill out the form within your browser window, then print it out and submit it to the Office of Procurement & eCommerce via mail correspondence, email, facsimile correspondence, or in person. This form is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. In order to view or print such documents, you must have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer.

inclement weather Notice

In cases of inclement weather, updates will be posted as soon as possible. Cancellation of field/gym facilities will be made based on the decision of the Executive Director of the Athletics Department.

Gymnasium Closures

All dates are approximate and subject to change.

During the winter, spring, and summer season, the District's Maintenance Departments schedules gym closures to varnish the gymnasium floors.

As those facilities become available from the District's Maintenance Department, that information will be published here.
